An emergency drop is allowed under certain conditions up to five weeks before the semester ends.Chapter 6: Academic Progress EvaluationStudent evaluation is based on attendance, assignments, and exam results. The passing grade is set at a minimum of 10 out of 20.Chapter 7: Leave of Absence and WithdrawalStudents can take a leave of absence for up to two semesters. Failure to register in the first semester after the announcement of exam results is considered a withdrawal from studies.Semester Registration: Students must visit the education office during the designated times each semester for registration and course selection. Not doing so without a valid excuse will be treated as a withdrawal from studies.Course Selection: Each student can select a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 credits per semester. If a student's average grade for a semester is at least 17, they may select up to 24 credits in the following semester with university approval.Graduation Requirements: If a student has a maximum of 24 credits remaining for graduation and is not on probation, they may take all remaining courses in one semester with university approval. If only one course remains, it can be completed through special arrangements with the instructor.Summer Courses: A maximum of 6 credits can be selected during the summer session.Duration of Study: The maximum duration for completing an associate degree or non-continuous bachelor's degree is 3 years, while for continuous bachelor's degrees, it is 6 years. Failure to complete within this timeframe will result in expulsion.AttendanceMandatory Attendance: Students must attend all classes, and absences cannot exceed 4.17% of total class hours. Exceeding this limit results in a zero grade for that course.Justified Absences: If absences exceed the allowed limit but are deemed justified, the course may be dropped. Leaves count towards maximum study duration.Withdrawal from StudiesWithdrawal without university permission is considered a formal withdrawal from studies. Students wishing to withdraw must submit a personal request to the education office and may retract their request once within one month.Transfer and Guest Student PoliciesTransfers between universities require mutual agreement and completion of at least one semester at the original institution. Requests must be submitted at least six weeks before the semester starts.Guest students can temporarily change their study location with approval from both institutions but must have completed at least one semester at their original university.GraduationStudents who successfully complete all required courses will be recognized as graduates.
