The Media Lab Center at the Kermanshah School of Public Health is dedicated to producing educational media aimed at conveying health messages to the general public. This initiative addresses the urgent need for effective health communication to enhance community health awareness. Established under the Department of Health Education and Promotion, the center leverages the unique scientific expertise of faculty members to deliver evidence-based health messages through modern media formats.Center Members

Objectives
The center operates in three main areas:Educational:
- Teaching media literacy to graduate students.
- Familiarizing students with media production standards.
- Training in the design and production of health education media.
- Providing access for graduate students to practical courses.
Research:
- Developing educational content and evaluating its effectiveness through student theses.
- Designing and assessing educational materials through faculty research projects.
Service:
- Consulting on the design of educational content in health education for relevant organizations, including audiovisual, written, virtual, and software media, under contractual agreements.

- Control room with an office desk, three chairs, a sound mixer, and a 48-inch television

Mission Statement
Considering that the mission and specialized duty of the field of Health Education and Promotion is health communication, professionals in this area must possess sufficient information and skills in communication technology. The Kermanshah School of Public Health has established this unit to enable master's and doctoral students to achieve objectives such as designing and producing short films, animations, and educational video editing, as well as providing voiceovers for films and creating podcasts aimed at enhancing community health.
